O.C. condo foreclosures up 320%

DataQuick numbers for the six months ending in late January show condo foreclosures in Orange County climbed 321% vs. the same period ending in late January 2007, while foreclosures of houses jumped 274% over the same period. (The numbers exclude the last three business days of January.)

Just as I stated earlier, areas showing deep double digits above are the affordable areas of the future. A perfect opportunity for well meaning posters to do their part by joining and reviving these towns. It’s also very interesting how relatively unscathed the best towns are. Location, location, location just like always.

The worst has yet to come. These high rise towers, town houses, and condo are too expensive in Orange County.

Yes everyone, follow the advice of itsthelandstupid, the clearest and most direct path to foreclosure and bankruptcy. Buy at the near-peak of the market. Don’t wait until next year when you can save $50,000+. I mean come on, who wants to save money anyway, especially when it’s a lot of money? Buy buy buy! Buy 2 if you can afford it.
